Supervisor

Job Description

We're looking for a full-time confident and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at Marjorie's, a Parisian-inspired wine bar and restaurant that opened a year ago.

This is a hands-on role for someone who leads from the floor. You'll act in a Head Waiter capacity, setting the standard for hospitality and service on every shift, as well as supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

The role:

As Supervisor at Marjorie's, you will:

• Champion service standards and lead by example on the floor, creating genuine, warm hospitality for every guest
• Confidently assist with managing the floor during shifts, 
• Run the door as part of a fast-paced service, balancing multiple turns and a wait list for walk-ins
• Assist with opening and closing the restaurant, ensuring smooth handovers and consistently high standards
• Support the management team with stock management and day-to-day operational tasks
• Help continually contribute and develop a strong, cohesive FOH team through your example and attitude

Job Requirements

Candidates should:

• Have experience in a quality restaurant environment in a senior FOH role
• Be genuinely passionate about hospitality and take pride in the guest experience
• Be reliable, organised and calm under pressure
• Have a good knowledge of wine — particular knowledge of French wine is a bonus
• Be ambitious and looking to grow within the industry
