Job Description

We’re on the lookout for an all-rounder Chef de Partie to join our small but mighty kitchen crew — a close-knit team (mainly fabulous females 💁♀️) who love great food, good laughs, and don’t take ourselves too seriously. Plus our bbq chef Jason (the owner).

We’re a family-run, independent spot, proudly loved by our locals — the kind of place where regulars know your name and the kitchen is full of teamwork and chatter. No corporate nonsense, no egos, no scary hierarchy — just good food, good people, and a shared passion for what we do.

🍽️ The food?
We cook modern and traditional dishes inspired by the Balkan Peninsula / Eastern Mediterranean, with a big focus on open-fire and barbecue cooking — bold flavours, simple techniques, and ingredients treated with respect. We also have a small garden (plot to plate) that we are very proud of.

Job Requirements

We’d love someone who’s happy to get stuck into a bit of everything:
🔥 Running (or learning!) the barbecue
🔪 Prep, service & jumping on the pass from time to time
🍽️ Getting involved in menu development and creative ideas

This could be a great fit for a younger chef with around 3+ years kitchen experience, who’s keen to learn new skills, grow in confidence, and understand how a small, independent business really works.

We’re open Thursday to Sunday, so you get a genuine work-life balance (yes, actual days off 🙌).

💷 £33k per year + service charge
