Palm Greens is a plant-based wellness café and events space in Shoreditch. We operate 7 days a week, host events, and offer corporate and private catering. Our food is made from scratch - bold global flavours, whole grains, pulses, and seasonal ingredients sourced largely from regenerative and organic farms.

We're looking for an experienced, passionate chef to join our small and friendly team
Daytime café role expanding into Wednesday–Friday evening with a small plates service from March
You'll be following recipes and instructions, creating consistent dishes, with the opportunity for creativity within our seasonal specials.
Stock take and communicating with kitchen manager for ordering.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen and able to manage time and tasks on quieter days
Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confident managing MEP lists, stock rotation, and section cleanliness to H&H standards
Able to direct a kitchen assistant
Ability to follow recipes and instructions and consistently
Health & Hygiene Level 2 certificate (required)
Knowledge of plant-based or health-focused cooking is preferred but not essential - a genuine interest and attitude for learning is the priority
Work-life balance is important to you - we offer largely daytime hours, some evenings, but not late finishing
Organised, self-motivated, and able to show initiative
