Job Description
Chef de Partie – Join Our Exciting New Neighbourhood Restaurant
We’re looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our growing team. As part of our kitchen team, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional, seasonal dishes from day one.
As a part-time Pastry Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for managing your section of the kitchen, ensuring that every dish is prepared to the highest standards and delivered promptly. You’ll work closely with the Head Pastry Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, maintaining consistency in quality, and working efficiently during service. Given that this is a neighbourhood restaurant with a strong focus on team growth, you’ll also have the opportunity to help shape the menu and contribute your ideas from the very beginning.
We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ experience in a professional kitchen, with a solid understanding of pastry techniques and their application. Confidence in ice creams and sorbets is important, and experience with laminated pastry and sourdough would be a real bonus.
You’ll be someone who can work independently, learns quickly, and brings both flair and care to your work. A genuine excitement for working with great produce is essential. Just as importantly, you’ll be joining a kind, supportive team that’s open to new ideas and committed to development.
Located in the heart of Chingford, just minutes from the Overground and Epping Forest, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves working in a creative, team-focused environment, and enjoys the balance of city convenience and the charm of a quiet neighbourhood.
