Job Description

LARDO is looking for experienced floor and bar staff to join our team in London Fields.

We're an independent neighbourhood restaurant serving great food, thoughtful wine, proper cocktails and warm hospitality. Busy services, high standards and a team that genuinely enjoys what they do.

If you can read a table, handle a packed section, recommend a bottle with confidence, and keep your cool when the printer won't stop, we'd like to meet you.

Full-time and part-time roles available.

As part of the LARDO front-of-house team, you'll be responsible for creating a relaxed, professional and memorable experience for every guest.

Your role will include:

Delivering warm, confident and knowledgeable service
Managing sections efficiently during busy services
Taking food and drink orders accurately
Recommending wines, cocktails and menu items
Preparing and serving drinks, cocktails knowledge essential (bar positions)
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Working closely with the kitchen and wider restaurant team
Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth service throughout the shift

Job Requirements

We're looking for people who:

Have at least 2 years of experience in a busy restaurant, bar or hospitality venue
Are confident speaking with guests and building rapport
Can stay calm and organised under pressure
Have a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Enjoy working as part of a team
Have a genuine interest in food, wine and hospitality
Are available to work evenings and weekends
Have the right to work in the UK
