We recently opened a new Lady of the Grapes next to Borough Market and are looking for a warm, organised, and confident Receptionist to be the face of our restaurant.

This is a key role in shaping the guest experience from the very first moment; setting the tone, managing bookings, and creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

About Us

Lady of the Grapes is a French Restaurant focused on organic, biodynamic, and natural wines, showcasing female winemakers. Our food is seasonal and designed to pair beautifully with our wines.

It is in 2 levels: the restaurant on the Ground Floor and the Wine Bar on the basement. Totalising 120 covers.

We are expecting to be soon very busy and the reception desk will be at the heart of it.

The Role

• Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism
• Managing reservations and walk-ins efficiently
• Coordinating table flow with the floor team
• Handling phone and email bookings
• follow up private hire booking
• Creating a calm, organised front-of-house environment, even during busy service

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• A natural host who enjoys looking after people
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence managing bookings and busy services
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in a similar role (restaurant or hospitality is essential)
• A team player
• An interest in wine, hospitality culture and french food is a plus
