Job Description
We are looking for someone to join our small kitchen team in a part time CDP role. The role would consist mainly of prep shifts, supporting the kitchen team where necessary.
- Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen areas.
- Follow all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels
- Minimize food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience (2 years minimum) as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to progress.
- Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable.
