Job Description
We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead a small, focused kitchen centred around seasonal ingredients and modern British cooking. The menu will be produce-led, combining generous, family-style dishes with fresh, vibrant plates designed for takeaway and casual dining.
You’ll be responsible for shaping and evolving the menu, working closely with suppliers, and ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in a compact kitchen environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys cooking at pace without compromising on detail.
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of seasonality, a natural instinct for flavour, and a modern approach to British cuisine — balancing comfort, simplicity, and creativity. Experience with fresh, ingredient-led cooking is key, alongside the ability to lead a small team and maintain high standards across prep, hygiene, and service.

Experience & Personality
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
• Background in seasonal, produce-led or modern British cooking
• Confident designing and evolving simple, ingredient-focused menus
• Strong organisational skills in a small, fast-paced kitchen
• Comfortable managing ordering, suppliers, and kitchen systems
• Calm, hands-on leader who sets the tone in service
• Positive, team-first attitude with clear communication
• Detail-oriented, with pride in consistency and presentation
• Adaptable and solution-focused in a compact, evolving space
