Job Description

Goodbye Horses is a wine bar on a leafy street between Dalston and Islington. It is part of a space divided into a wine bar and a coffee shop with a really nice garden.

The small kitchen follows a sharing plates format, the menu is a creative and fun approach to cooking and uses the best seasonal produce available, with an emphasis on minimising waste where possible, in an approachable and engaging way.

We are looking for a Junior Sous to join our team.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities include

• Run service in the absence of the head chef and sous chef
• Assisting Head and Sous Chef in teams supervision
• Train less senior chefs
• Manage inventory, deliveries and food waste
• Being dynamic and adaptable to different stations
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Be trained in executing dishes to a high standard
