We are an independent, female-owned bakery and cafe. We opened by popular demand in August 2021 and have been bringing delicious, seasonal pastries to Walthamstow ever since. This is an exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly team on our mission to create delicious baked goods!

As pastry chef you will be responsible for running the kitchen operations alongside two other members of the pastry team. This is the perfect opportunity to perfect your croissant making with scope for some creativity and input as well as potential for the role to develop

We believe in work/life balance - you will work 8 - 9 hour days. Hours are worked between 6.30am-2.30pm or 9am-5pm - no night shifts or super early mornings and you'll have every afternoon / evening off, with rotas written well in advance so you can plan your life. You'll get every third weekend off where possible, with an EXTRA DAY OFF every 3 weeks!

Job Requirements

Experienced pastry chef (experience with laminated doughs preferred but not essential)
Clean, tidy and organised with high standards
Focused - able to look ahead at what needs doing and prioritise tasks
Enthusiastic and comitted to working in a small team
Able to use initiative and think on your feet
Passionate about food, pastries and seasonal, quality produce.
Willing and eager to learn and develop skills
