Job Description
We are excited to be looking for a passionate, skilled chef to join our café team on a part time basis. Pique Café sits on Lavender Hill, Battersea and is busy with breakfast and lunches for lovely locals.
We operate a full breakfast, brunch and lunch menu with homemade focaccia sandwiches, along with a counter full of sweet and savoury treats - we take huge pride in the food we serve so we are looking for someone who can confidently uphold our values.
We are looking for an all rounder, someone who is confident with presentation and savoury prep but also with bread making and baking.
If you are looking for a full time role, we can offer day time shifts at our catering kitchen which is in Earlsfield to make up the hours.
We have a small, very friendly team who are excited to welcome a new member to the Pique café family!
Hours of the job are 8am-4pm, with one 7am start per week.
Job Requirements
- We are looking for someone with a great energy and passion for great food
- At least 2 years in a professional setting
- A solid understanding of flavour and food trends
- Level 2 / 3 hygiene cert
- Strong understanding and execution of HACCP
- Punctual and reliable
- Available to work one weekend shift per week (8am-4pm).
