The Kerfield Arms is proud to have been awarded a Michelin Star and ranked in the Estrella Top 50 Gastropubs, all within its first 10 months of opening.

We’re now looking for a passionate Sous or Junior Sous chef to join our small, friendly kitchen team.

You’ll be working in a brand-new kitchen, using the very best seasonal produce and cooking over fire. This is a brilliant opportunity to join an ambitious, creative team at an incredibly exciting moment in our journey.

Job Requirements

Has experience as Sous or Junior Sous in a busy, high-quality kitchen
Stays calm and focused under pressure
Collaborate with the Head Chef and our suppliers to maintain consistency, monitor quality, and ensure the produce we work with always meets our standards.
Is eager to learn and grow within the role
Support the Head Chef and management team with cost control, helping to achieve GP, margin, and labour targets without compromising on quality.
Shows initiative and takes pride in their work
