Job Description

Rita’s is an independent restaurant where modern American dining meets British and European produce. Founded in 2012 in East London, Rita’s is now at home in Soho where our Lexington Street restaurant has been open for four years.

We are looking to expand our team across FOH Floor and Bar, either separate or hybrid roles, and we are also open to hearing from anyone looking for part time work of around 25-30 hours per week. We are flexible for the right candidate!

Our menus are guided by the seasons with fresh produce sourced from local organic farms surrounding London and the best markets in Europe. All of our wines are sourced from producers whose winemaking style mirrors our ethos in the kitchen; working organically as a minimum, sometimes biodynamically and most often without any chemical intervention at all. Our cocktail programme is best described as elevated dive bar classics leaning into North American cocktail bars and the history books for reference. Our gilda martini is WORLD FAMOUS(!) and we pride ourselves on being a restaurant where you can drink just as well as you eat.

We work closely with exceptional, local suppliers, growers and farmers to produce focused, high quality food led by the seasons and our love of comfort and nostalgia paired with a dynamic approach to looking forward, navigating new challenges and exploring new and future ways of cooking and working. Job Requirements

• A deep interest in food and the wider restaurant industry
• Appreciation and interest in wine and good, well made beverages.
• Tidy, methodical worker with an eye for detail
• You must be hard working, confident and creative, but open to learning
• A team player, punctual, professional and respectful of your colleagues
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience in a busy restaurant is required for this role
