Job Description

We are on the hunt for a weekend manager for our bustling bagel cafe and bakery on Well Street.

The ideal candidate should have some prior experience either managing or working in a senior capacity in a cafe environment.

The manager is responsible for smooth and efficient service and overseeing a team of 3/4 staff producing and serving coffees, cold and hot sandwiches and fresh take away bagels.

A sense of urgency, attention to detail and dedication to excellent customer service are all crucial in the role.

The weekend manager is also responsible for managing communication between our additional sites and ensuring ingredients and menu items are kept at needed levels whilst always being aware of minimising wastage.

Outside of running weekend service the successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with other senior management on team performance, assisting in ongoing training, ensuring SOPs are kept up to date, best hygiene practices followed and records are diligently kept.

Hours: 35-40 / 3-4 days per week

Job Requirements

The ideal candiate should have great attention to detail and be calm under pressure.

Thould be comfortable fixing problems on the fly and be able to identify and deliver constructive criticism to the team on a daily basis in an effort to build team cohesion and morale.
