Job Description

We are looking for an experienced sous chef to join our team.  

Ideally, you’ll have a few years’ of working as a sous chef in a similar environment with experience in dynamic and creative environments. You’ll be cooking in a kitchen that takes real pride in every dish, working with exceptional, fresh produce sourced from some of the country’s best suppliers, alongside a close-knit and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the head chef to manage the wider team.  
  • Leading by experience and fostering a positive, supporting team culture.  
  • Take an active role in training, education & development.
  • Dealing with suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts.  
  • Making sure that every dish reflects the quality and standard of our restaurant. 
  • Maintaining a sense of calm and control during busy services.  
  • Overseeing daily task checklists and management of the kitchen. 
  • Working with wider restaurant management team to uphold the quality and experience of our restaurant.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a senior in a professional restaurant environment essential.  
  • Experience working in a fast paced kitchen.
  • Passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Ability to work well with others and lead by example in a team-oriented setting.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Right to work in the UK and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
