Job Description

At KOL, the Assistant General Manager plays a key role in bringing the restaurant to life every day.

This is a hands-on leadership role, leading from the floor, supporting the General Manager, and helping to shape a team that delivers thoughtful, precise and genuinely warm hospitality.

You’ll take real ownership of the day-to-day — running services, developing people, and making sure every detail reflects the standards we’re known for.

What you’ll be doing

Leading service from the floor — present, calm and in control
Supporting and developing a large team, building confidence and capability
Taking ownership of the guest experience and ensuring every detail lands
Working closely with the kitchen and bar to deliver seamless service
Supporting the General Manager with the overall running of the restaurant
Stepping up to lead the business when needed

Job Requirements

KOL Assistant General Manager Requirements:

A hands-on, natural leader who can support the General Manager to nurture and develop a large team.
An enthusiastic and proactive individual, who is happy taking responsibility for all areas of the restaurant.
Able to work with integrity, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine and hospitality and able to exceed guests’ expectations.
Responsible for their knowledge and learning in their job role, always looking to consistently be the best.
