Job Description
Evi’s is a busy, friendly, neighbourhood restaurant in East Dulwich. We are a small, close-knit and sociable team and we pride ourselves on warm hospitality, quality food using top producers and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff. You will work closely with the FOH team but also the kitchen team in our open kitchen environment.
As a neighbourhood restaurant, many of our guests are regular customers so building relationships and creating a friendly, personal experience is extremely important. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, is approachable and attentive and always prioritises accommodating customer requests wherever possible.
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised and hands-on FOH Manager to lead the daily service operations of our restaurant and handle the bar finances. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience, managing and developing the front-of-house team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations and customer service
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Welcome and seat guests in a warm and professional manner
- Manage bookings, walk-ins and table organisation
- Recruit, train and supervise front-of-house staff
- Handle our social media keeping it up to date, engaging, and reflective of the restaurant’s atmosphere and community
- Respond to customers emails enquiries and resolve complaints professionally
- Work closely with the owners to forecast budgets, control costs and achieve profitability targets
- Monitor inventory, storage conditions and stock rotation
- Produce monthly drinks revenue, sales performance and margins
- Conduct regular staff training sessions focused on menu pairing and upselling
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant

Job Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality and restaurant management
- Experience with stock taking and managing bar GP margins
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Experience with Seven Rooms systems and bookings is desirable
