Job Description
We’re hiring a Baker to join our growing bakery team, working across both our cake team and the viennoiserie and bread team, with lots of space to grow, learn, and get creative.
You will work with our Head of Pastry and Head of Bread to execute classic Fink’s recipes to a high standard.
You will work with top suppliers like SHRUB Provisions, Natoora, Wildfarmed flours and Estate Dairy and work with other passionate bakers who are in the industry to continue learning and bettering their skills in the field of pastry.
We work hard, we make delicious food and we have a lot of fun. Striking the balance of those 3 things are at the core of what working at FINK’S is all about.
We are a growing company, whose goals include growing our retail range, supplying 5 locations with a wider selection of our bakery menu.
Job Requirements
What you’ll be doing:
- Working across all areas of production: viennoiserie & bread and optional cakes
- Supporting the team with prep and bakes
- Getting hands-on with shaping, laminating, mixing, and decorating
- Keeping a clean, efficient and well-organised workstation
- Helping to maintain high standards and consistency
The ideal candidate:
- One year experience minimum in a professional bakery kitchen
- Curious, reliable, and excited to learn new techniques
- Passionate about great ingredients, precision and flavour
- Comfortable with early starts and fast-paced environments
- A positive team player who’s up for a challenge
