Job Description
We are hiring two Senior Bakers to join our growing bakery team and take the lead on all things bread and viennoiserie.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in our expanding bakery, to come and work amongst a vibrant, creative team of industry professionals. At Finks we're all about showcasing colour, seasonality and passion through our baking, and we're looking for a baker that will be a part of our evergrowing family.
We make all of our own bread and pastries for our 5 retail sites, and supply our commercial kitchens locally, just up the street at Mountgrove Road and in Clissold Park, so technical skill and consistency is important, as is seeking efficiencies and improvements.
You’ll be supported by our Head of Pastry and well as our amazing team, and work closely with the owners of the business as we grow and expand our bakery in 2026 and beyond.
You will work with top suppliers like SHRUB Provisions, Natoora, Wildfarmed flours and Estate Dairy and work with other passionate bakers who are in the industry to continue learning and bettering their skills in the field of pastry.

This role is for a baker with a minimum of two years experience in a professional bakery. Experience in both sourdough and viennoiserie is essential. The role is based on a 5 shift per week rota, with early bakes and daytime production shifts. You’ll be writing the rota as well as managing stock ordering for our bread and viennoiserie kitchens.
Interest and experience in cakes is appreciated as you'll be working directly above where we make our well-loved cakes – however this is an exclusively bread and pastry based role.
Job Requirements
