Job Description

Goodbye Horses is a wine bar on a leafy street between Dalston and Islington. It is part of a space divided into a wine bar and a coffee shop with a really nice garden.

The small kitchen follows a sharing plates format, the menu is a creative and fun approach to cooking and uses the best seasonal produce available, with an emphasis on minimising waste where possible, in an approachable and engaging way.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. The role will be spread across our 3 sites - Goodbye Horses, The Dreamery and Stable Wines with lots of room to grow. We also provide training on ice cream/gelato production.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities include

• Assisting senior chefs in team supervision
• Oversee and support junior staff
• Train and guide less experienced team members
• Help maintain a positive, productive kitchen environment
• Managing inventory, deliveries and food waste
• Executing dishes to a high standard

Requirements include

• Experience in a CDP position or similar essential
• Being dynamic and adaptable to different stations
• Good communication and leadership skills
