Wine Bar Assistant

Job Description

• Wine service - guiding guests through our by the glass and wider selection
• General schmoozing
• Maintaining cleanliness & organization by keep all areas of the bar clean, organized and well stocked.
• Food service - serving, plating and clearing snacks.
• Team Work. It does make the dream work.
• Being a Nerd - learning all things wine, sharing your knowledge with staff and guests alike.  

Job Requirements

• You preferably either have a WSET qualification or were born in a vineyard.
• You have experience in wine bar or a restaurant with a recognised wine list
• You have worked in or adjacent to the wine industry in some capacity for at least a year.
• Experience in a wine tasting format or experience in events.
• You are a people person / at least funny enough to get away with being a hater / just generally very nice.
• You have a sense of urgency on the floor and a keen eye for detail.
