Wyken Vineyards is home to The Leaping Hare, the UK’s first vineyard restaurant, set on a thriving farm where we rear, grow, and forage much of our produce. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our Front of House team, ensuring outstanding service while driving the business forward.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in restaurant management who thrives on creating a positive work culture, is financially astute, and has the vision to implement change and improvements.

We have aspirations to gain a Michelin Green Star and become known as a globally important name in restaurant sustainability and the farm to fork movement.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and inspire the Front of House team, ensuring a happy, motivated workforce and exceptional customer experiences.

- Oversee smooth day-to-day operations, working closely with the Head Chef to maintain efficiency and high standards.

- Monitor and improve financial performance, including cost control, GP targets, and staffing costs.

- Maintain and develop booking, EPOS, and stock management systems for optimal efficiency.

- Recruit, train, and appraise staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Ensure all food and drink offerings align with Wyken’s farm-to-table ethos, with staff trained on our unique wine list.

- Organise and execute events, liaising with clients and internal teams.

- Regularly meet with owners and key stakeholders to discuss strategy, improvements, and upcoming opportunities.
