Job Description

We’re looking for a waiter to join our small, friendly team at Elsa bistro focused on seasonal French - German cooking

The role involves looking after guests from start to finish: taking orders, running food and drinks, and making sure service feels smooth and relaxed
Provide warm, attentive service that’s knowledgeable but never formal or overbearing
Help maintain a calm, organised floor during both quieter lunches and busy evening services
Flexible hours available (from around 20+ hours per week), with a mix of morning and evening shifts

You should have:

Some experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant, wine bar or bistro
A friendly, confident manner with guests and a genuine enjoyment of service
Good attention to detail and a steady, organised way of working
The ability to stay calm and positive during busy moments
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
A hands-on approach: happy to support wherever needed, whether that’s running food, resetting tables, or helping the team

Bonus points if you have:

An interest in seasonal food and low-intervention wines
Basic wine knowledge
Experience using POS systems or taking bookings
