Hey!

We're looking for a brilliant Head Chef to join us at Gina.

We're an independent neighbourhood restaurant in London, a stone's throw from the Overground and right on the edge of Epping Forest. City connections and countryside on our doorstep. Not a bad combination.

We're a small, dynamic team who love what we do. We work with excellent producers, cook with the seasons and believe in generous, ingredient-led food without too much fuss.

We're looking for someone creative, ambitious and genuinely passionate about cooking, but equally excited about building a great team and running a successful kitchen.

What we're looking for:

• A confident, experienced chef with a strong understanding of seasonal British cooking.
• Someone who loves working with great produce and developing exciting, thoughtful menus.
• A natural leader who can inspire, train and nurture a small team.
• Someone organised, commercially minded and comfortable managing food costs, GP and kitchen operations.
• A hands-on approach, a good sense of humour and absolutely no egos.

We're an ambitious little restaurant with lots of ideas, and we'd love to find someone who wants to grow with us and make their mark.

Location: London, next to Epping Forest
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Job Requirements

Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.

• A solid background in quality, ingredient-led restaurants.
• Excellent knowledge of seasonal British produce and cooking techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of kitchen financials, menu costing and GP management.
• Confident managing food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Ability to remain calm, organised and consistent during busy services.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, creativity and developing people.
• A hands-on attitude, a good sense of humour and absolutely no egos.
