Job Description

Sohaila is looking for an experienced Front of House professional with over 3 years of hospitality experience and some wine knowledge, bringing a strong understanding of customer service and hospitality to our team. We are looking for someone who will be part of creating a welcoming atmosphere while delivering informed wine recommendations and ensuring a smooth, high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage guests with a warm, professional approach
• Provide knowledgeable wine recommendations, including pairings and tasting notes
• Confidently discuss wine regions, grape varieties, and production methods
• Take and manage orders efficiently using POS systems
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front-of-house area
• Handle reservations, walk-ins, and seating flow
• Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly
• Uphold licensing laws and responsible alcohol service standards

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of wine knowledge and hospitality experience
• A basic understanding of wine styles, regions, and food pairings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Confident upselling and customer engagement skills
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
