Senior Sous Chef at SlowBurn

Job Description

• The right candidate will be offered to take over as Head chef to help shape the new chapter of Slow Burn in 2026
• We are ingredient led, veg forward restaurant and work with the seasons. 
• As we are sharing space with Denim maker Blackhorse lane atteliers, we are only open on Weekends (Fri-Sun) with 9:00-17:00 prep days on Wednesday and Thursday. 
• Small team, inclusive environment with very low turnover 

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year at a Sous Chef level at a reputable establishement working with seasonal produce. 
• We are lookng for someone confident that would be keen to leave a mark on the menu 
• Experience managing teams, maintaining consistency and all relevant Health and Safety standarts. 
• Ability to lead service calmly while cooking during a busy, fast pased service. 
• Passionate and driven personality 
• Ego kept in check :)
