Job Description

We are looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting new role within the team, which will play an important role both on the floor and supporting the management team across a variety of areas. If you are passionate about wine and are looking for an opportunity to be a a part of an ambitious and motivated team, this could be the role for you.

The role will be key in maintaining and improving our service standards, from the moment we begin setting up, right through to the moment we lock the doors at the end of the night. The role will involve being delegated responsibility of the restaurant floor, demonstrating leadership to our team and delivering honest and genuine hospitality to our guests. The supervisor will also play an active role in preparing and delivering training.

The supervisor will assist the delivery of our wine offering and contribute to the overall development of Planque. Responsibilities include:

Being delegated management of service
Supporting the front of house team
Running a section
Being on hand to assist both guests and the team regarding wine
SOP optimisation
Service prep
Contributing to in-house training
Work closely with the GM and RM to maintain an elevated dining experience

Job Requirements

The right candidate would have experience working in high-standard restaurants with a strong working knowledge of the sort of the wines we represent here at Planque. The role can be adjusted depending on experience, so would be suitable to either someone looking to step up into a junior management role, or an established manager looking for a change. We are looking for someone who wants to join a growing, ambitious business and make a real contribution to what we do here at Planque.
