About Us
Ornella is the new neighbourhood opening from the founders of Lupa.
Launching in late April on Wilton Way, the 48-cover, Milanese-inspired restaurant will serve classic dishes celebrating the iconic city where head chef, Naz Hassan, grew up. Think risotto allo zafferano, tagliatelle al burro e parmigiano and cotoletta alla milanese.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an ambitious Restaurant Manager with a real passion for food, wine and people.
After the success of Lupa, a recent addition to the 2026 MICHELIN Guide and Identità Golose, our dream is to create another enduring neighbourhood classic that’s known throughout the city as a destination for some of the best Italian cooking in town.
Experience running busy restaurant services is a must, as is a good knowledge of food and wine, but we’re also open to candidates looking to make the step up from an assistant manager role. We would like to meet talented hospitality people who will fit with our culture while helping us to elevate what we do to the next level.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities
- Leading services in the dining room, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere, while using your knowledge of food and wine to offer our guests the best possible experience.
- Setting the standard for daily team briefings with full attention to guest notes,
specials and VIPs / regulars - Training new starters on steps of service and Ornella’s values
- Being the point of contact for the FOH team on service standards, wine and
food knowledge - Managing daily takings and cash up sheets for the services that you run
- Maintaining standards of uniform, timekeeping, tidiness, and attitude amongst the FOH team
