Operations Manager

Job Description

Ltd Ltd is a hospitality group consisting of the Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded Goodbye Horses, the ice cream shop and wine bar The Dreamery, wine shop and wine bar Stable Wines, and coffee shop Day Trip. We launched in summer 2024 and we are continuing with an ambitious pipeline of launches in 2027, including a second restaurant and bar concept and a live music venue, amongst others.

We are seeking an Ops Manager to join the team to strengthen our current operations and continue to develop our team and offering. Culture is a big part of what makes our business work, and we are looking for the right person to join our team. This role will be defined around the successful candidate depending on their skillset and experience. The role will report directly to the owners of the business and the Ops Director.

The role will have oversight over multiple sites and all operations functions, including - but not limited to:

Offering and Customer Experience - ensuring our high standards in offering and service are met consistently in accordance with the vision of the owners. 

Line Manager to Site Managers - help support and develop our management team through regular interactions and coaching on topics such as:

 - staff costs, through rota forecasting and efficiencies

 - GPs through waste management and targeting high yield

 - revenue management through booking system refinements, customer experience, staff training, private hires

People Person - ensuring our team receive a top class experience from hiring to onboarding and during their tenure with a focus on continuous learning and personal development.

Systems/Admin - ensuring the systems that support our team are utilised to their fullest and with consistency across the group. Ensuring admin is kept to a minimum, and again consistent across the group, so our team can focus on the important things.

Compliance - ensuring our businesses are fully compliant to relevant UK legislation and law and our own internal high standards.

Maintenance - ensuring our sites and equipment are looked after and issues dealt with swiftly.

Job Requirements

Minimum entry requirements for the role are:

 - at least 3 years experience in the independent hospitality sector, in roles touching Michelin-standard food, natural wine, or similar

 - at least 1 years experience in multi-site management

 - proven track record delivering excellent offering and customer experience in highly regarded venues, ideally across multiple offerings
