Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced Baker to join the team at our popular and growing bakery in West London.
The ideal candidate has good experience in Viennoiserie and Sourdough Bread.
You will work with our Head of Pastry to execute classic Debbie Jo recipes to a high standard and have the opportunity to work across both Pastry and Bread sections.
Creativity in the bakery is hugely encouraged and the role will be most attractive to someone who enjoys coming up with new ideas and is excited to help their team to make them a reality.

We are a popular and thriving business, having opened a second location in 2025, we opened our first Debbie Jo in 2023. We have also (in April 2026) opened a small third spot in the Pavilion at Brook Green. So it is an exciting time to join the business and we are looking for candidates who share our passion and ambition.
The ideal candidate will be excited about the opportunities for further growth and personal development within the business. We have immediate goals including increasing our bread range, increasing our pastry production and developing new products on our bakery menu.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lamination / Pastry Production. Our Pain au Choc is the best in the business. Come and learn how to make it.
- Assisting with out Sourdough Bread production. We pride ourselves on having the best Sourdough in West London!
- Baking cakes, tray bakes, cookies, working with puff pastry, and creating weekend specials.
- Supporting the team with prep and bakes.
- Keeping a clean, efficient and well-organised workstation.
- Helping to maintain high standards and consistency.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in Lamination.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in artisan bread making.
- Thorough knowledge of the sourdough fermentation process.
- Passion and enthusiasm for introducing new bread and viennoiserie products.
- Relevant baking skills to achieve consistently high-quality production.
- Happy working in a small team.
- Enjoys being creative.
- Curious, reliable, and excited to learn new techniques.
- Passionate about great ingredients, precision and flavour.
- Comfortable with early starts and fast-paced environments.
- Lives near W14 0HP.
- A positive team player who’s up for a challenge.
Job details
- 5 days a week.
- 2 days off together.
- 45 hours per week.
- Pay dependant on experience.
- The shift pattern is 0530-1430 and 0730-1630
- May vary on weekdays and weekends.
