Job Description
Chishuru is a Michelin-starred modern West African restaurant in Fitzrovia. We trade MONDAY TO FRIDAY ONLY.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Senior CDP to join our small team of seven chefs, led by chef Joké Bakare, working on our regularly-changing set menus. Our food isn't quite like anyone else's, with an extensive list of ingredients that are unfamiliar to many people - it's a great opportunity to learn. We have an open kitchen.
Our chefs work seven shifts a week and no more than 45 hours. We do not ask our staff to work unpaid overtime.
Job Requirements
Minimum two years' experience in a table service restaurant kitchen. Specific experience with West African food is not required. We like people who work quickly, are precise, but are also friendly and relaxed - this is not a shouty kitchen!
