We’re looking for a Server to join our team who shares our passion for delicious, thoughtful food and low-intervention wines, and who embodies the warmth and integrity at the heart of Apricity.
About the Role
As a Server at Apricity, you’ll play a vital role in championing our ethos and ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable, meaningful dining experience. You’ll:
- Foster and promote our inclusive and supportive team culture, helping to build a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Take a proactive, guest-focused approach, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth, seamless service from start to finish.
- Share your knowledge and enthusiasm for our seasonally led, well-executed dishes that highlight exceptional British produce and responsible sourcing.
- Speak confidently about our low-intervention wine list, celebrating winemakers who share our values of sustainability and craftsmanship.
- Develop a strong understanding of our regenerativey practices, suppliers, and the stories behind our menu — connecting guests to what makes Apricity special.
Job Requirements
About You
We’re looking for someone who is nurturing, kind, and community-minded, with a genuine passion for hospitality, great food, and mindful dining. You’ll have:
- Previous experience in a similar front-of-house role and a practical understanding of service steps.
- A kind, caring, and team-oriented attitude — someone who supports and uplifts those around them.
- The ability to be quick-thinking, adaptable, and calm under pressure.
- Pride in your work and a natural desire to maintain — and inspire others to maintain — high standards.
- Integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness in all aspects of your role.
- A good sense of humour and individuality — we value genuine personalities that enhance our team dynamic.
- A “can-do” attitude and enthusiasm for running a restaurant in a planet- and people-friendly way.
- Knowledge of wine styles and pairings, particularly in the context of low-intervention and sustainable winemaking.
- An eye for detail, ensuring exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout service.
