Job Description

Having recently been awarded a Michelin Star we are recruiting experienced front of house staff to join our team. We have vacancies for both bar and waiting positions in a full time capacity.

On the floor our waiting position is based around warming and knowledgeable service without feeling overbearing or formal. We keep a small but ever changing menu centred around Rob & Jays's cooking. On our first floor we run a busy private dining space which can seat up to 24 guests.

Our bar staff contribute far more than just a service position. They are involved in the development of our concise and seasonal cocktail offering, of which we make our own syrups and cordials in house. Input is encouraged on all listings, whether beer, wine or soft drinks - we only sell things that excite us and delight in contributions from all. A calm head and experience in a busy food lead environment is a must alongside being able to work your way round a bar.

Above all we are looking for team members to become part of our growing business. There is much room for progression in the coming months as we look to expand into 2026.

The Kerfield Arms is a pub centred around cooking. We keep a small but ever-changing a la carte menu offered alongside warming and knowledgeable hospitality. We close Sunday night and all day Monday each week as well as over Christmas where we close from December 23rd - January 3rd.

Job Requirements

Whilst Michelin experience is not necessary we do ask for experience in a busy food led environment. Knowledge of low intervention wine would be an advantage alongside and an understanding of produce and cooking techniques.
