The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in event management, with extensive experience of working with high end restaurants.

The role reports directly to the Head of Events & Reservations.

Since St. JOHN Restaurant opened in Smithfield in 1994, Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver have grown their unique and eclectic portfolio which now include: the Michelin starred St. JOHN Smithfield, St. JOHN Bread & Wine and St. JOHN Marylebone in 2022. These sit alongside their wholesale St. JOHN Bakery and retail stores, not forgetting HG Wine (their independent wine business).

Job Requirements

Experience as an event coordinator in high end, fast paced, high-volume sites
Exceptionally organised, responsible and detail oriented
Confident communicator (written and spoken) with guests and internal teams
Wine enthusiast
A strong passion for delivering excellent food and customer service with the ability to inspire others with their energy.
An open, engaging and friendly personality with the confidence to lead the St. JOHN philosophy and brand image with our team and guests.
Excellent attention to detail, calm under pressure and resilient.
Able to work as part of the wider St. JOHN management team and with their own initiative.
