Job Description
We are seeking a passionate weekend Bakery Supervisor/ baker to join our small, friendly bakery team on Colombia Road.
In this role, you will work as a baker in our cafe Saturday and Sunday - as part of a small team to provide excellent products (and customer service when needed).
An ideal candidate will have baking skills and be able to support the bakers in prepping and finishing pastries, doughs, and bakery items - training provided and this element of the job can be flexible to a specific skill set. We're interested in developing this role with the right candidate.
This position will suit someone who takes pride in their work, presentation and management, and is passionate about baking.
Barista skills are a huge bonus, though training can be provided there too.
We're looking for someone friendly, confident, self motivated with a love for baking.
Saturdays & Sundays primarily - though there's huge scope for this role to grow.

We're interested to know if you have any of the below skill sets:
- Skill in pastry, doughs (doughnuts), baking, kitchen prep
- Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards, with a commitment to upholding these practices.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good time management
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach, fostering a positive working environment.
- Experience working front of house
- Barista skills
Available to work weekend shifts, This job be will be from Friday/Saturday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high standards in quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Collaborate closely with the bakery team to prepare signature pastries and cakes. Preparing doughs for doughnuts, fritters and cinnamon buns.
- Once settled - train and oversee the weekend shop team members, motivating and managing to provide excellent service
- Managing stock control to ensure efficient resource management.
- Maintain a pristine and organised workstation and making sure the bakery is left clean and adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the wider team
- Potentially work with the bakery team on menu development and seasonal offerings
