We are looking for a passionate School Chef to join our team at Greenside Primary School. Working alongside our Regional Executive Chef Educator, you will help create exciting, nutritious menus that meet school food standards, celebrate seasonal ingredients and reflect our school community.

Job Requirements

Relevant catering or professional cookery qualification and a Level 2 or above Food Hygiene Certificate.
Experience preparing meals for large groups, including catering for allergies and special dietary needs.
Experience working within budgets, ordering food and managing stock.
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, nutrition and school food standards.
Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
Organised, reliable and adaptable, with a calm approach under pressure.
Approachable team player who communicates well with adults and children.
Passionate about fresh, nutritious food and committed to safeguarding children.
