Job Description

Apricity, meaning the warmth of the winter sun, is all about regeneration and joy.

We're looking for an experienced chef - Chef de Partie level and above - to join our small, tight-knit team, and to be part of a restaurant doing things differently.

At Apricity, we work hand-in-hand with wonderful growers, producers and farmer, cooking with the very best seasonal British produce and putting our creative energy into maximising flavour. We're constantly innovating to ensure nothing goes to waste, finding ways to turn peels, skins, crumbs and husks into delicious dishes.

You'll work directly with chef owner Chantelle, in a kitchen built on positive energy and genuine thought about how and why we cook the way we do.

Kitchen and front of house work as one team here - supporting each other, and always looking at how we can do things better. We have close relationships with our suppliers and feed off their energy, and they feed off ours. Our Chefs' Table sits right in front of the pass, and we get to talk directly to our guests and constantly see and hear their joy.

There's real scope to grow and progress with us, and everyone is rewarded and valued for what they bring to the team.

Job Requirements

You'll have a good couple of years of cooking experience behind you, along with a genuine passion for maximising flavour, honouring ingredients and celebrating their terroir. You love food, interesting flavours, and cooking with truly seasonal produce.

We're after a team member who is kind, considerate, thoughtful and also has a sense of humour. Empathy matters to us - and so does a passion for learning, creating and innovating.
