Job Description

We're looking for a passionate and reliable Part-Time Chef to join our growing team from September 2026 ideally.

Responsibilities

Will share responsibility of our kitchen in Battersea with another Chef
Manage and train other team members
Plan and oversee weekly production based on our corporate and private events
Manage Stock control – ensure minimal wastage and spoilage and order to not run out of stock
Recipe creation especially with strong emphasis on vegetables and those limiting food waste
Engage with planners and sales team to support the clients
Support with client menu tastings, presenting ideas and taking feedback to produce the final products for their events
Support on some events, serving or overseeing finishing – maintaining high level of professionalism when working off site for events
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene and health and safety across all work

Location: London (Battersea kitchen or offsite at client’s kitchen in central London)
Hours: Part-time (ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, may include some evenings and Saturdays if available)

Job Requirements

Previous significant experience as a chef in a professional kitchen ideally in a catering environment.
Experience in managing a diverse team in the kitchen
Able to plan a production efficiently
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Strong training skills, very keen to share knowledge with other colleagues
Strong interest in
Positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills.
