Farha is an independent bakery serving speciality coffee alongside a considered range of pastries and contemporary viennoiserie. Inspired by the flavours and hospitality of the Middle East, we combine traditional techniques, modern flavours and the best seasonal British produce to create something distinctive.

We’re looking for an exceptional Head Baker & Pastry Chef to lead daily production, develop new products and seasonal ranges, and work closely with the founders to shape the future of Farha.

You’ll bring outstanding technical ability, a strong understanding of flavour, an eye for detail and the leadership skills to run a busy, high-volume bakery while maintaining exceptional standards.

Job Requirements

A strong background as a Senior Baker, Head Baker or Pastry Chef, ideally within an artisan bakery.
Excellent technical skills across viennoiserie and pastry, with a strong understanding of dough, lamination, fermentation and baking.
A keen understanding of flavour, seasonal ingredients and product development.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and developing a team.
Excellent organisation and production planning skills, with the ability to manage a busy, high-volume operation.
A good understanding of stock management, ordering, waste reduction and food costs.
A strong eye for detail, consistency and presentation, with pride in everything you produce.
A hands-on, proactive approach, with the ability to solve problems and continually improve how things are done.
A genuine passion for baking, creativity and hospitality, with the ambition to grow alongside the business.
