Front of House - Cloth Cornhill

We're looking for a warm, switched-on and enthusiastic Front of House team member to join our opening team for our brand new site Cloth Cornhill. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional standard of customer service across our pub, restaurant and private dining rooms in an iconic and historic building. 

What You’ll Do:

• As part of the FOH floor team you will be responsible for taking food and drinks orders, selling wine and ensuring that our guests have a warm and welcoming experience from start to finish. 
• You will be fully trained on the bar in both the pub and restaurant and be responsible for the service and stocking of the area before, during and after service.
• You’ll have the chance to taste a wide range of exciting wines with our Sommeliers, expanding your palate and knowledge.
• You’ll participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with our list and enhance your expertise.

Job Requirements

What you'll need

• Genuine hospitality - friendly, attentive and calm under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork across a busy, varied site
• Confidence multitasking between bar, restaurant floor and private events
• A sharp eye for detail and presentation
• Flexibility to work weekday evenings, daytimes and event bookings
• Previous FOH, bar or restaurant experience preferred
• Basic food and drink knowledge and willingness to learn.
