About WANGS王

We are a small restaurant on a mission to bring together Chinese food culture and Bristol's good-time-values. We explore modern Chinese cuisine across inner and bordering regions of China combined with quality seasonal produce to create a small changing menu.  We are very much in ‘start-up’ mode so are looking for people to help us build something very special. This year is an exciting one as we will be renovating the kitchen and introducing a Cantonese charcoal oven, open charcoal grill and a traditional wok.

We have a strictly ‘No NPCs’ policy! We value everyone's opinion, encourage everyone to think differently. This approach has already proven to give our customers memorable experiences. We are a small restaurant with big ambitions. Being family run means we love and take care of our tight knit team, but being ambitious means we strive to be the best, and standards are high. Our team reaching their full potential excites us. However long our team members chapter is at WANGS, we want them to get the most out of it; a chapter that you can look back on fondly, that takes you closer to your aspirations. We encourage everyone to have a chat with past and present team members to get a feel for our culture.
