Osteria Vibrato — Soho, London

Osteria Vibrato is an Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho. In under six months, we earned a place in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100 in the UK.

Our bar is an important part of what we do: a carefully curated selection of classic cocktails, Italian aperitivo, spirits, wine and great hospitality.

We’re looking for a Bartender who is a great host to join our team.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent drinks and genuinely warm hospitality throughout service. You’ll work closely with the Bar Manager and wider FOH team to keep the bar fast, clean, organised and consistent.

You will:

Execute classic cocktails to a high standard, with speed and consistency.
Prepare and maintain all bar mise en place.
Serve cocktails, wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.
Maintain an immaculate, organised and fully stocked bar.
Engage confidently and warmly with guests.
Understand our drinks offering and make thoughtful recommendations.
Work closely with the floor team to deliver seamless service.
Follow recipes, SOPs, licensing and responsible service standards.
Support stock management, deliveries and bar administration when required.
Contribute positively to the wider team and help create an enjoyable working environment.

Job Requirements

Has previous professional bartending experience.
Loves cocktails and genuinely cares about the details.
Is confident with classic cocktails and interested in developing their knowledge further.
Works quickly and calmly under pressure.
Is organised, reliable and proactive.
Has a natural warmth and genuine passion for hospitality.
Is a strong communicator and team player.
Takes pride in maintaining high standards.

We’re particularly interested in people who have a passion for Italian drinks culture, aperitivo, classic cocktails and great food.

Development

We want to invest in our people. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge across cocktails, Italian spirits, wine, bar operations and leadership, with a clear pathway towards Senior Bartender, Bar Supervisor and Bar Manager for the right person.
