Newsletters you NEED

Newsletters we love

Yeah sure, sometimes it’s annoying to get emails with stuff you didn’t sign up for BUT there’s some incredible wisdom being thrown out there, waiting for you to grasp it! A little bit of inbox joy, that’s why we wanted to put together a small list of our favourite newsletters.

You bring the wine, Elena Silcock

We are big fans of Ellie over here, a chef with many strings to her bow. Not only does Ellie know how to cook, recipe write, test, style and shoot she’s also worked for the BBC Good Food team and as a baker over in Copenhagen.

‘You Bring The Wine’ is a monthly newsletter and recipe platform, created by Elena Silcock, celebrating food for sharing. It’s your monthly dose of low maintenance cooking, perfect wine pairings, homeware favourites, kitchen hacks and restaurant recommendations. There will be more guest editors dishing out their expertise, prizes to be won, a big batch of fresh and exciting new recipes and so much more planned for 2021!

Vittles

Vittles, described as a ‘treasure trove’ by Shado-Mag has brought many of us inbox joy over the past few months. Highly regarded food writer Jonathan Nunn created Vittles at the beginning of lockdown as a way of ‘showcasing new authors and highlighting cuisines that have otherwise been unrepresented in mainstream food writing. Stories are told from the heart and are rich with anecdotes, with beautiful accompanying imagery breathing life into the food described with such candidness.’ (Shado-Mag)

Jonathan also pays each writer and illustrator.
