About Miokuru Handroll Bar

A 20-seat counter restaurant on Warwick Street, Soho, steps from Piccadilly Circus where our chefs apply Japanese technique to the finest British seafood. Watch the team work from your seat at the bar as they roll made to order temaki. Cornish white crab and wild garlic mayo, dry aged beef tartare with wasabi mustard, and glazed wild mushrooms wrapped fresh in crisp nori are among the signatures. Cold plates like pressed scallops and seared chalk stream trout sashimi round out a menu that champions British fishermen, farmers and brewers. Drinks lean local too. London made saké from Kanpai, Orbit beer from Walworth, natural wine, and cocktails like a mezcal miso margarita. Warm dark woods, hammered steel counters and soft lighting create an intimate but lively atmosphere. And when you're not ready to leave, a hidden bar tucked at the back is waiting.

Workplace Culture

Personality over pedigree. High standards, without the ego. Visible leadership on the floor everyday.  Everyone in the room is responsible for the guest's experience, and that shared accountability creates a team identity that means the culture is one team, not two departments. Built together, from nothing. Everyone who joins before opening will share something that no future hire can have, they were there at the start
