The Spence Bakery

We a small, but thriving retail and wholesale bakery business, with neighbourhood bakeries in Stoke Newington and Tufnell Park, and a wholesale production bakery in Bethnal Green. Our focus is on making good bread, including but not limited to sourdough, with everything loaf being handmade via a cold bulk fermentation process, with doughs maturing for an average of 24 hours, before being shaped by hand and baked in deck ovens.
