Enoteca da Luca is an independently-owned group of Italian restaurants in London (City / Old Street / Mayfair). Four sites are open Monday to Friday only.
An enoteca is a casual Italian wine bar with food - we serve plenty of pasta, often made fresh in-house, alongside snacks and sharing plates. Our sales are more drinks than food, with the majority of drinks being wine, and the majority of that Italian. We've recently undergone comprehensive training on our premium wines; we send a few people each year on WSET courses and occasionally we have supplier trips too.
Our two owners are hands-on and can usually be found in one of the sites on any given day.
Our chefs work 8-9 shifts per week and front of house 7-8. Typical hours would be 50 for chefs and 40-50 for front of house. We don't expect or want people to be working longer than that.
Our busy services are lunches, and dinners Tuesday to Thursday. So having Friday night off plus all day Saturday and Sunday is achievable!
