We are a family run, local neighbourhood restaurant. Head chef Joe has spent the last few years working at Timberyard, Embla and at Blue Hill with Dan Barber. Now returning home he has taken on the restaurant next door to Yardarm wine shop and bar. We run a daily changing menu, brunch and set lunches. We also have wine tasting and chef collaboration evenings.

Yardarm is a well loved, busy, and ambitious independent restaurant and wine bar/shop arranged across two units next door to each other. We are known for top quality produce with an approachable vibe. Open for nearly five years as a shop, we acquired the unit next door and have run it as a successful residency for the last two years. We are now operating under one business, going back to our restaurant roots and are running it ourselves. The restaurant holds 20 covers inside and potential for more in the bar and garden. Head chef Joe Brundle has spent the last few years working at Timber Yard in Edinburgh, Embla in Melbourne and Blue Hill at Stone Barns under Dan Barber. The food we serve reflects the ethos of the places Joe has worked. Using ingredients to their fullest capacity, aiming to reduce waste, being inventive and playful and changing the menus most days. Front of house we take care of our regulars and love talking about what the guys in the kitchen are working on. We are also wine focused with Eliza teaching both onsite and for the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, holding informal wine events and pouring interesting bottles during service.
