Well Kneaded, founded in Wandsworth in 2011, is a social enterprise, headed up by husband and wife team Laurence and Bridget. It combines an obsession with sourdough pizza and sustainable, exciting food with a vision to bring transformation to young folk who have faced disadvantage. Over the past seven years, we have partnered with local charities to develop an internship that helps young people to prepare for more full-time work in the world of food.
At the heart of our menu is some seriously delicious (award winning) British-inspired sourdough pizza, cooked Neopolitan-style, which is accompanied by killer garlic bread, exciting salads, dips, and desserts. We also have a full catering menu for weddings and external private events.
Sustainability is part of our DNA here at Well Kneaded and we have been awarded 'Gold' in the SRA x KERB sustainability survey, recently carried out. We think about everything we use, produce and create and the impact it will have.
This year, founder Bridget won an award for Women in Food for the sustainability push, and we have featured in Secret London and Jellied Eel among others for sustainability and fun!
Our food has, over the past 8 years, consistently featured in Time Out, ES magazine & Observer Food as one of the ‘Top 10 street food in London’.
