Job Description

Having recently been awarded a Michelin Star, we are recruiting an experienced bartender to join our team. We are a busy neighbourhood pub in Camberwell focussed around food and exceptional, knowledgeable but relaxed service. We have a dedicated restaurant space and a bar area for drinks and further dining, alongside a private dining room for 24 guests and and outside dining space in the Spring/Summer months.

Working alongside the Bar manager and team, you will be responsible for day to day operations of our busy bar.

Requirements:

At least 1 year's experience in a high-end gastro pubs or restaurants
Cellar management, including conditioning of cask ales
Contributing to cocktail development
Maintaining high service standards
Ensuring cleanliness and and overall appearance of the bar and pub
Ensuring EHO compliance
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Job Requirements

Whilst Michelin experience is not essential we do require experience in a food focussed pub or restaurant where service is operated to a high standard. A good understanding of cocktail development (as well as the classics), old world wines from low intervention producers, and beers and cask ales from independent British breweries is also required. A keen interest in fresh seasonal cooking will also stand you in good stead.
