We're a 32 cover restaurant, with 8 bedrooms set in an idyllic location in the Lake District. The Cottage is owned by hospitality couple, Jack & Beth Bond and their growing family. We are situated amongst farms, producers and unique landscape, meaning our food is led by nature and the seasons. Our drinks and cocktails are created from produce in our kitchen garden, wines are on the natural side and no & low is championed. We've had a stellar year collecting awards as well as retaining our Michelin star and 3 AA rosettes. 

Workplace Culture

We're a young(ish) team, that are extremely ambitious. Beth leads the business through empathy and kindness, whilst Jack is is striving for us to be the best we can be. Our goal is to create moments of happiness and joy to our guests and for each other. Being lead by a couple means there's no room for back of house/front of house divide. The chefs serve a lot of our menu, so we are always working together to create a seamless experience for our guests. Constant learning is important, and we hold weekly FOH training sessions, and put our team through their WSET. Our staff food is nothing short of epic and we enjoy a good party now and again. We operate a 4 day working week (Wed-Sat)
